Leonardo De Donno
Biography
Leonardo De Donno is an Italian composer born in Rome in 1987.
He started playing piano as a kid and quitted after few years to pursue his sport career in the Italian Baseball League.
He rediscovered the love for piano at the age of 18 by studying the major Neo-classical music composers as a Self-taught pianist.
At the age of 25 he worked in an Art School in Rome and composed soundtracks for humanitarian projects and documentaries.
After many travels in Asia, he ended up in India where he played his first international concert in the city of Auroville.
He then moved to the north of Italy in 2019 to study music composition at the Educational Music Academy, under the guidance of Maestro Roberto Cacciapaglia.
In 2020 during the first lockdown, he published his first home-made album “A New Birth” and in April 2022 he debuted as a music composer with the Ema Label, produced by Maestro Roberto Cacciapaglia, with his first studio album named “Suntracks”, inspired by the poem Savitri written by Sri Aurobindo.
