Carmine Padula
Biography
Carmine Padula is a Italian pianist, composer and conductor born in Foggia on the 16th of September, 2000.
He began his piano studies at 11 and after only a year, struck by the painful loss of his father, he took refuge in music and began to compose.
By the way, he wins numerous national and world competitions and makes the national press talk about his talent.
At the age of 15 he released his first album “Orizzonti” which immediately ranks in the Top Ten of iTunes.
At the age of 16 he was commissioned the hymn of his country, which he entitled “Apricena, Madrepietra!” when he writes words and music and was presents in a suggestive video shot in the stone quarries of Apricena (symbol of the country), much appreciated by the press and the public.
At 17 he released “Dreamland”, a new album produced by the famous composer Roberto Cacciapaglia (his Maestro), which ranks first on iTunes.
In the summer of 2018, he was noticed by the famous director Giacomo Campiotti (director of Braccialetti Rossi, among others), who commissioned him the soundtrack of the TV series "Ognuno è Perfetto", with which he marked the youngest debut in history in Rai National Italian Television and won awards for best soundtrack for TV series.
At just 19, he already boasts a career of great successes and achievements; his music is played and performed by prestigious international orchestras including: the Rai National Symphony Orchestra, the Roma Sinfonietta Orchestra (orchestra of Maestro Ennio Morricone), the Cinematic Symphony Orchestra.
He has received numerous prizes and awards including the prestigious "Nino Rota" 2020 Award for the soundtrack of "Ognuno è Perfetto, for which he also obtained the "Cinemability Film Fest 2019" Award and, moreover, he was awarded by the Governator of Apulia, Michele Emiliano, with the "Premio Solidarietà" for great artistic merits.
He played and conducted his music in the most important Italian cities including: Milan, Rome, Florence, Turin, Assisi and Bari.
Eclectic composer, he blends different musical genres in his music, from film music to jazz music, creating his own unique and unmistakable style.
Among the many works, there is certainly the song "Sei Come Me " that Padula composed for the famous italian singer Emma Marrone in December 2019.
In November 2020 he composed the soundtrack for the short film “Guardami Così”, produced by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, directed by Adriano Morelli with the artistic supervision of Edoardo De Angelis.
On January 3, 2021 he wrote a new soundtrack for Rai 1 for the film "Chiara Lubich - L'Amore vince tutto" , directed by Giacomo Campiotti with the production of Luca Barbareschi, which glues over 5.6 million spectators to the television, scoring a share of the 23%.
Great artists of international caliber, including Ennio Morricone and Roberto Cacciapaglia, have spent words of esteem for him.
